"For the past three weeks I have been working with Bela at BelaBody Fitness. Since I stepped foot in the gym, which has the most incredible and unusual set up and equipment I've seen, I've been so excited to get back into shape. Every day is different, and I never do the same thing twice. I can choose between a kick-ass cardio MMA Kickboxing class, a bodyworks weight training class and a body BASIX class (uniquely similar to yoga/pilates mixed together). In each of those classes Bela switches the sets and movements. I have been working muscles in my body I didn't even know I had. My first day with Bela, I could barely keep up with the exercises, it was a struggle for me to do a large number of reps and heavy weights but now just a short 3 weeks later I am stronger than ever. I have lost over 4 inches off different parts of my body including my stomach. It feels great to feel great! I never want to go through a "not-working-out phase" ever again. This isn't about getting "skinny" for me its about being healthy and my time in the gym makes my life outside of the gym more stable and serene. I have about two more weeks with BelaBody Fitness. I have been a daily "gym-goer" since high school, always consistent with weights and interval cardio workouts. I continued this routine through college on top of being a collegiate athlete. My family friends and teammates always told me I was crazy! I was willing to do extra to get where I wanted to be. 8 years later, I’m still fighting and struggling to reach my physical fitness goals.
For the same amount of time I have understood what an "almost perfect" diet was and would follow it to a "T", constantly making sacrifices. I was very frustrated, to the point where I thought there had to be something wrong with my body. Doctors confirmed that there was nothing wrong with me, and that I was as healthy as can be. Determined to make the changes, I started doing more at the gym. I was going to the gym twice a day for one to two hours, on top of going to classes like spinning and yoga.
I finally decided to talk to Bela Santos, an amazing trainer at my gym. Bela consulted with me and took the time to thoroughly interview me in order to understand my history to better help her devise a plan that would work once an for all! I started private training with Bela and took her up on some of her "FIT Meals 2-GO!" prepared meals for the first month to get me on track with my eating.
I felt better and lighter than I had felt in a REALLY long time, even in the first 24 hours! One week later and 7 lbs. GONE, I felt like a million bucks! I realize the importance of a balanced food plan along with the right fitness routine is the key to reaching my goals. I don’t need to kill myself at the gym 4 hours a day ANYMORE!

"It is hard to describe all the different ways that Bela has helped me. She greeted me each morning at 5:30am with a smile and energy that was absolutely contagious. The workouts she constructed were custom-tailored, challenging, full of energy, constantly changing and always fun. Bela never takes the easy route - which would be to passively assist in some exercises - she is actively involved right from the beginning: analyzing what areas need strengthening, whether for a sport or to help with posture and alignment, and clearly describing why she is making you work hard in that area. The improvements I have seen in strength, especially in my core, posture and flexibility have been awesome. "My sister and I started training with Bela this past April. Having attended Bela's group classes when she was an instructor at my gym, I knew training with her privately would be a a good workout. What I did not expect was such positive changes in my body. I have been active all my life. I've always belonged to a gym and used the membership, played soccer my whole life and continue to play on a team today, dabbled in running and even ran the Boston Marathon a few years ago. None of these activities have given me the toned and sculpted muscles and the total body workout training regimen that Bela has provided me.
